Being a sole-icitor, I can't help but show proof of me not being a copycat:
So, here's what I've learnt:
- You need more than one brush to do a decent full eye of makeup
- Expensive doesn't always mean better
- Nobody is born knowing how to blend eyeshadows, practice makes perfect
- When there is a light and dark colour on the eye, it's not always two different shadows, you can blend it out
- UDPP is not the be all and end all of bases
- Primer keeps your foundation on for longer
- Liquid liner is not impossible..keep trying
- White bases make colours appear brighter and lighter
- Black bases make colours appear more vibrant
- You can wear practically any shade of blusher if you blend it properly
- You can successfully layer eyeshadows
- When you find yourself using more of your mascara than you did when it was new, it's finished
- Just because an eyeshadow from one brand is pants, it doesn't mean the rest of the products from that brand will be equally crap
- Online swatches are seldom accurate
omg iv completely forgotten wat i was going to write now thanks to you cute pics - HOW F'in CUTEEEE!!!
ReplyDeleteps. ever seen the chimp n da frog? AHAHAHA LOL
I've learned that some of my fellow American brands are difficult to get a hold of in the UK unless I go and get them myself, there are loads of really nice bloggers out there (nudge nudge wink wink) and some pretty nasty ones, and I know more about MAC makeup then I ever wanted to know. I'm sure there is more but that's all I can think of right now.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to adopt that same view when it comes to liquid liner, but failing :P
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
