It's a green and purple combo..sometimes it photographs green and sometimes it photographs purple. The colour reminds me of those cars which change colour under the sun. I don't know the technical term for them so I call them chameleon cars.
I love the way it looks so different in different lights, have a look at the thumb nail and then how it looks different with the flash on and off.
Does anyone else like duochrome shades? (Thanks to Jen for telling me the technical term for these polishes!)
Oh wow, beautiful colour! I love duochrome polishes :)
ReplyDeleteOmg your nails have grown so much! You've inspired me to not bite my nails now! X

Wow that's a colour I've dreamed of but never seen realised. You're going to tell me it's long-discontinued now...
ReplyDeleteLillian: I love the Frankens you made, I must make some up when I find the perfect glittery bits. I like duochromes too but I find it hard to find darker colours in duochrome form.
ReplyDeleteMyFrostedWorld: Thanks! It is really worth it because you get to use really nice polishes. I tried to comment on your blog but it won't let me..
Naz: You know that's exactly what I'm going to say! I got it about 10 or more years ago as a set for Xmas so I don't even know which shop it was from. If you ever go to Westfields, go to Beauty Box, they have LA Colours nail polish on for 99p each and they have a LOT of duochromes, I'm sure I saw a dupe for this colour!
xx
This remindsme of MAC blue brown pigment and I LOVE that pigment even though I thought Id hate it =D
